Hi, I’m Maggie, the face behind the lens of MaggieB Photography! Growing up, I was always surrounded by photography. My dad has a passion for aerial photography and he has passed his love for the camera onto me. It didn’t take much for me to be hooked.
During the spring of my junior year of high school, on a whim, I decided to grab one of his old cameras to shoot a varsity lacrosse game. From then on, I fell in love with capturing the traditional celebration shots, moments of raw emotion following a senior’s last game, fans in the stands cheering on their friends, and so much more.
Now a student majoring in Psychology at Auburn University (War Eagle!), you will find me at home in Auburn, Alabama. However, about 650 miles north in Richmond, Virginia, I am still capturing hometown shots during breaks and over the summer!
I love to tell an entire story through a single image. I focus primarily on sports and portrait photography and occasionally dabble in wildlife and animal imagery. I have never met a bird or dog I didn’t want to follow.
I am always ready to hear your ideas for a project. I really want to take inspiration from how you want the final product to look! What makes me happy is being able to capture your special moment in a way that allows you to remember it forever.
